Kolo, India’s top home content community, has raised $ 4 million from global venture capital company RTP Global and previous investor Better Capital. The fresh investment will help the company continue to grow, improve consumer-facing product offerings such as the content recommendation engine, community offering, digital portfolio, and professional tools, and expand its presence across India.
Kolo is a content-community mobile app for homeowners to build their dream home and enables construction providers and brands to create a digital presence and receive opportunities from homeowners. It was founded in 2020 by ex-Gojek team members in the Southeast Asian unicorn – Jery Althaf, Pranav Garg, Aayush Sharda, and Vivek Mittal.
Kolo said in a statement that the new investment will assist fuel the company’s continuous growth, enhance consumer-side product offerings such as the content-recommendation engine, community offering, digital portfolio, and professional tools, and expand their footprint across India.
