Great Learning, a subsidiary of BYJU’S group, has bought Singapore-based Northwest Executive Education for around $100 million in stock and cash.
Northwest, founded in 2015 by Mohit, Tamhant, and Singhvi, provides executive education in a variety of fields, including management, leadership, technology, healthcare, and innovation. It claims to have over 50 countries represented among its players.
Yale, UC Berkeley, MIT, University of Chicago, and UCLA are among the universities with which Northwest has cooperated.
This is BYJU’S second executive education acquisition, following the $600 million purchase of Great Learning in July of last year. Around the same time, it bought Toppr.
