Tech startup Awign raises $15 million in Series B funding

Work fulfillment platform Awign, which is based in Bengaluru, has earned $15 million in a Series B round that was co-led by Bertelsmann India Investments and Amicus Capital Partners. It also received funding from Mynavi Corporation, Unitus Ventures, and the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation.

Annanya Sarthak, Gurpreet Singh, and Praveen Sah, three IIT graduates who founded Awign Enterprises in 2016, run it as a work satisfaction platform targeted at the gig economy. According to the firm, it has over 100 large marquee businesses as customers, one million gig partners, and nine primary business operations.

The startup addresses discovery, deployment, and payroll administration in addition to end-to-end outcome-based execution.

The leading VC firms in the nation, including the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, Unitus Ventures, Lumis Partners, Work10M, Eagle10 Ventures, Blacksoil, and Stride Ventures, have already invested about $7.3 million in the company.
