Durable Pack Pvt. Ltd, the second-largest room air conditioner (RAC) contract manufacturer in India, is raising $40 million in funding, with Affirma Capital serving as the round’s lead investor.
EPACK manufactures RACs and small home appliances (SHAs) for Indian and MNC brands in facilities in Dehradun.
The company produces a variety of RACs, including split and window air conditioners. Additionally, it produces household products like water dispensers, mixer grinders, and induction cooktops.
As it tries to boost capacity to 3.6 million units by the end of next year, the corporation is planning to invest the money in brownfield and greenfield projects to take advantage of the production-linked incentive system for RACs.
