Superfood brand Nourish You has raised $2 million as part of its Seed funding round, which also included seasoned investors like Y Janardhana Rao of Triumph Group, Rohit Chennamaneni, co-founder of Darwinbox, Nikhil Kamath, co-founder of Zerodha, Abhijeet Pai, co-founder of Gruhas Proptech, and Abhinay Bollineni, CEO of KIMS Hospitals, among others.
With the additional capital, Nourish You will be able to increase its commitment in product research and development, further expanding the brand’s portfolio. Additionally, a portion of the funds will be used for marketing and branding, hiring new employees, and considerably enhancing distribution and market presence.
Founded in 2015 by Sowmya Reddy, Krishna Reddy, and Rakesh Kilaru, Nourish You retails its brand of quinoa, chia, millets, edible seeds, and breakfast cereals across online marketplaces and ecommerce platforms.
The brand also exports its products to countries including Nepal, Singapore, Kenya, Dubai, Mongolia, and Maldives.
