Amicco, a technology-driven platform designed to empower independent garages and revolutionize India’s automotive aftermarket, has successfully raised $1 million in seed funding. The round was led by Eximius Ventures, with participation from global investor FJ Labs, and will be used to scale Amicco’s operations, enhance its procurement platform, and streamline its go-to-market strategy.
Founded in 2024 by Vivek Aalok, Amicco aims to solve one of the most pressing issues in the auto repair industry—inefficient and opaque spare parts sourcing. The platform helps garages simplify procurement processes, reduce turnaround time, and gain access to real-time inventory and competitive pricing.
“Addressing the persistent inefficiencies in spare parts sourcing is a clear market need,” said Vivek Aalok, Founder and CEO of Amicco. “We believe technology can transform this on-demand sector, and the support from Eximius Ventures and our investors reflects their confidence in our mission to digitize India’s automotive service ecosystem.”
Aalok’s vision for Amicco is backed by deep industry expertise. A former J.P. Morgan analyst involved in the General Motors IPO, and later Head of Business at Spinny, he brings a strong understanding of both global automotive markets and the Indian startup ecosystem.
Transforming a Fragmented Aftermarket
India’s automotive aftermarket is a multi-billion-dollar industry, but remains heavily fragmented and under-digitized. Independent garages, which form the backbone of local vehicle repair, often struggle with inconsistent pricing, unreliable suppliers, and poor parts availability.
Amicco’s platform offers a transparent, efficient, and tech-enabled solution to these challenges—empowering garages to source parts quickly, cost-effectively, and with complete visibility. The result is reduced vehicle downtime, improved service quality, and increased trust among end consumers.
“Amicco addresses a core gap in the automotive aftermarket by simplifying spare parts sourcing for garages,” said Preeti N Sampat, Partner at Eximius Ventures. “With Vivek’s operational expertise and vision, we believe Amicco can become a market leader and reshape how India’s garages operate.”
Expansion Plans Ahead
With traction already visible in Gurgaon, Amicco plans to use the newly raised funds to:
-
Expand its garage network to other key metro cities across India
-
Invest in technology infrastructure for real-time inventory and order management
-
Build a strong operational and engineering team
-
Optimize procurement and logistics for smoother delivery cycles
As Amicco scales its footprint, the startup aims to become the go-to digital backbone for garages across India—enabling them to operate with the same precision and technology that large authorized service centers enjoy.
