Good Monk Secures $2 Million in Pre-Series A Funding Led by RPSG Capital Ventures

Bengaluru, India – April 17, 2025: Good Monk, the flagship brand of Superfoods Valley, has successfully raised $2 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by RPSG Capital Ventures. The round also saw continued support from existing investors Multiply Ventures, Sharrp Ventures, and ThinKuvate.

This latest capital infusion follows a previous round where the startup raised $841,000 from Multiply Ventures and other strategic investors. Good Monk recently gained national attention after securing a deal on Shark Tank India Season 4 from Vineeta Singh, co-founder of Sugar Cosmetics.

According to the company, the fresh funds will be directed towards research and development (R&D) and product innovation, with the goal of offering nutritionally superior alternatives across various consumer segments.

Building a Healthier India Through Smart Nutrition

Founded in 2022 by Amarpreet Singh Anand and Sahiba Kaur, Good Monk specializes in nutrition-first products, including multivitamin and probiotic mixes, fiber supplements, and over 50 health solutions tailored for children, adults, and seniors. The brand places a strong emphasis on nutritional transparency, accessibility, and scientific validation.

The Bengaluru-based startup operates primarily in the ecommerce sector, selling its products through its own website and top marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart. It has experienced rapid growth, reporting an 11X increase in customer base over the past 12 months.

Good Monk is also committed to social impact, donating a portion of its revenue to support mid-day meal programs and promoting health equity among underprivileged communities.

RPSG Capital Ventures, which led this round, has previously backed successful brands in the health and wellness space, such as Nutrabay, Plix, and True Elements. Their continued focus on innovative, consumer-first nutrition brands aligns with Good Monk’s mission to transform the health landscape through scalable, science-based products.
