Infra-Tech Startup Planck Secures $500K Pre-Seed Funding to Accelerate Edge Data Centre Innovation

Planck, an emerging infra-tech startup focused on next-generation analytics and edge data infrastructure, has raised $500,000 in an ongoing pre-Seed funding round led by Saarthee Actionable Insights, a US-based analytics firm. The investment values the company at ₹30 crore and aims to strengthen its go-to-market strategies and expand its footprint in the intelligent data solutions space.

Founded by Shishir Miglani, Planck is positioned as a sustainable edge data center company that seeks to become the digital backbone of India’s infrastructure transformation. With a strong “Make in India” philosophy, the company specializes in building modular and scalable edge data centers (EDCs) tailored for modern enterprises, OTT platforms, e-sports, private cloud setups, and more.

Planck’s proprietary product line, including its flagship offering “Quanta,” is designed to meet global standards with military-grade quality, offering high-performance solutions for data-sensitive, compute-intensive, and real-time streaming environments. Its clients span various sectors, including telecom, ISPs, media, financial institutions, healthcare, automation, and large-scale data centers.

The startup’s approach integrates sustainable design with high-efficiency analytics tools, enabling organizations to manage, store, and process data at the edge—closer to users and sources of data generation. Through partnerships like the one with Saarthee and its AI-powered data management capabilities, Planck is poised to deliver industry-disrupting solutions that drive both innovation and digital resilience.

Commenting on the Founding Shishir Miglani said, “We are building not just infrastructure, but the future backbone of India’s digital growth. Our goal is to deliver intelligent, secure, and scalable edge solutions that empower industries to innovate faster and operate smarter,” said Shishir Miglani, Founder of Planck.

As India witnesses a surge in data consumption and edge computing demand, Planck’s growth trajectory is aligned with national digital initiatives and the rising need for localized, efficient, and sustainable data infrastructure.
