Visa2Fly Raises $2M Seed Funding to Simplify Visa Applications with AI-Powered TravelTech

Visa2Fly, a traveltech startup focused on transforming the visa application experience, has secured $2 million in a seed funding round. The investment was led by M Venture Partners, a Singapore-based VC firm, and included participation from Flipkart Ventures, FinSight Ventures, and Thinkuvate.

The funding will fuel Visa2Fly’s mission to eliminate bottlenecks in the visa process, which remains one of the most outdated and cumbersome aspects of international travel—particularly for Indian tourists.

Solving the Visa Challenge in a Growing Travel Market

In 2024, over 28 million Indian nationals travelled abroad, according to the Ministry of Tourism. While flight, hotel, and activity bookings have been digitized and streamlined by OTAs and travel brands, visa access remains a significant hurdle, plagued by paperwork, unpredictable timelines, and lack of transparency.

Visa2Fly is addressing this challenge with its AI-driven automation, real-time application tracking, and seamless integration with travel platforms. The platform aims to provide a frictionless experience for outbound travellers, making visa applications just as easy as booking a flight.

Strong Industry Backing and Travel Platform Partnerships

Founded in 2022 by Vijayendra Bawa and Dhruv Kumar, Visa2Fly has rapidly built a robust ecosystem by partnering with major travel brands like ixigo, Acko, NiyoGlobal, SpiceJet, and WeGo. The startup’s technology is embedded directly into these platforms, enabling users to apply for visas to 70+ destinations including the UAE, UK, Singapore, Vietnam, Egypt, and various countries in Europe.

“Visas have long been one of the most outdated parts of travel—confusing, time-consuming, and unpredictable,” said Vijayendra Bawa, Co-founder & CEO. “With AI and automation, we’re creating a modern, traveler-friendly visa process.”

Strategic Use of Funds and Future Vision

The newly raised capital will be deployed to enhance AI-powered verification, scale automation in visa processing, and expand Visa2Fly’s reach through new partnerships. The startup aims to ensure that visa hurdles no longer stand in the way of global travel aspirations.

“By automating critical parts of the visa process and enhancing accessibility, we’re building the infrastructure for the next era of global mobility,” Bawa added.
