Bengaluru-based travel-tech startup Rimigo has raised $550,000 in a pre-seed funding round co-led by Japan-based Reazon Capital and SGgrow Capital, with additional backing from prominent Indian angel investors including S Ramadorai, Ravi Nigam, Shashank Deshpande, and Ujjwal Jain.

According to Rimigo, the newly secured funds will be used to accelerate product development, expand its team of travel and tech specialists, and enhance the platform’s AI capabilities to improve the vacation planning experience for global travelers.

Founded in 2014 by Sahil Sharma, Shubham Chintalwar, and Aditya Shirole, Rimigo is on a mission to simplify international travel. The platform offers an AI-powered end-to-end vacation planning solution. Users can simply enter their destination and preferences, and Rimigo generates a comprehensive travel itinerary including flight suggestions, curated accommodations, local dining, and activity recommendations.
