Salt Oral Care Secures $1 Million in Pre-Series A Funding to Drive Innovation and Sustainable Oral Wellness

Mumbai-based oral wellness brand Salt Oral Care has raised $1 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Lotus Holdings, the family office of Lotus Herbals. The investment will be executed in two tranches, with the brand’s post-money valuation for the round estimated at ₹46 crore (approximately $5.3 million).

This funding marks a significant step forward for the homegrown oral care startup, which had earlier raised $358,000 from Saurashtra Capital and other investors.

The newly acquired capital will be used to accelerate product innovation, strengthen R&D efforts, amplify branding and marketing campaigns, and expand the team. With an emphasis on scientific formulation and eco-conscious design, Salt Oral Care continues to build a modern oral care experience for today’s health- and sustainability-focused consumers.

Founded in 2022 by Karan Raj Kohli and Viraj Kapur, Salt Oral Care aims to bridge the gap between clinical efficacy and sustainability in oral hygiene. The brand’s philosophy revolves around delivering science-backed, effective oral care products that are eco-friendly, luxurious, and inclusive.
