MedVital Raises ₹8.4 Crore Pre-Seed Funding to Revolutionize Wound Care and Skin Repair

MedVital, a promising medtech startup specializing in advanced skin repair and wound care solutions, has secured ₹8.4 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Nihar Parikh’s 4point0 Health Ventures. The round also witnessed strategic participation from a distinguished group of healthcare and logistics founders, including leaders from Tata 1mg, NephroPlus, SafeExpress, Eye Q Hospital, Hexa Health, and AstroTalk.

The fresh capital will fuel MedVital’s mission to scale its product portfolio, optimize its supply chain, and deepen its reach across hospitals, clinics, and home-care environments.

Founded by Varun Gupta and Tarun Bansal, MedVital operates as a full-stack platform focused on wound management and minimally invasive aesthetic treatments. The startup is merging cutting-edge biomaterials with smart monitoring to deliver next-generation clinical care.

At the heart of MedVital’s innovation is NoWound—a compact, digitally enabled Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) device. Locally manufactured and designed for efficient healing of complex wounds, NoWound stands out for its portability and clinical precision.

Looking ahead, MedVital plans to introduce liquid chitosan-based dressings and expand its offerings into dermal rejuvenation and hair regeneration therapies—broadening its impact in both therapeutic and cosmetic care.

With this funding round, MedVital aims to position itself as a leader in India’s growing advanced wound care and medtech innovation space, delivering cost-effective, high-quality solutions tailored for modern clinical demands.
