Bengaluru-based cybersecurity startup CloudSEK has raised $19 million through its Series A2 and B1 funding rounds, marking a pivotal growth phase for the company. The investment was led by MassMutual Ventures, with strong participation from Inflexor Ventures, Prana Ventures, Tenacity Ventures, and Commvault. Existing investors such as the Meeran Family, StartupXSeed, Neon Fund, and Exfinity Ventures also reaffirmed their commitment in this round.
The capital will be strategically utilized to bolster CloudSEK’s AI model capabilities, integrate new platforms, and scale operations across global markets, with a specific focus on accelerating growth in the United States, currently the company’s fastest-expanding market.
Building Predictive Cybersecurity Intelligence
Founded in 2015 by Rahul Sasi, CloudSEK is at the forefront of predictive threat intelligence. The company’s platform specializes in identifying Initial Attack Vectors (IAVs)—such as leaked credentials, exposed APIs, and compromised third-party vendors—before they are exploited.
“Unlike traditional threat intelligence solutions that react after an attack, our technology detects early indicators—often weeks in advance—enabling proactive defense,” said Rahul Sasi, Founder and CEO of CloudSEK.
This forward-looking approach has helped the company stand out in a competitive cybersecurity landscape.
Financial Strength and Global Traction
CloudSEK’s latest funding round follows a three-and-a-half-year gap since its $7 million Series A raise, also led by MassMutual Ventures. During this time, the company has achieved impressive milestones, including:
-
Serving over 250 enterprise clients across key sectors such as banking, healthcare, and technology
-
Tripling its Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) over the past 24 months
-
Generating over 60% of net new revenue from international markets
-
Achieving positive cash flow while scaling operations
Next Steps: B2 Tranche and Investor Exits
Looking ahead, CloudSEK intends to extend its Series B1 round into a B2 tranche. This will allow the company to bring new investors on board while facilitating partial exits for early backers, signaling strong financial health and investor confidence.
With its blend of advanced AI, early threat detection, and global ambition, CloudSEK is well-positioned to become a leader in the predictive cybersecurity space.
