Chennai-based EV motor controller maker Revoh Innovations raises $150,000 Seed funding

Revoh Innovations Private Ltd., an IIT-Madras-incubated Electric Vehicle sub-component manufacturing firm, has raised $150,000 in a Seed round from Angel Investors Vel Kanniappan and Ravi Renganathan.

Revoh was founded a few years ago by a group of Electronics Engineering graduates with the primary purpose of localising the manufacturing of electric vehicle sub-components and eventually reducing our reliance on foreign manufacturers.

Revoh Innovations can currently produce 2000 motor controllers per month for EV, healthcare, solar energy, industrial, agriculture, and home applications. They currently have roughly 25+ reputable clientele, including MNCs and start-ups. They also have partnerships with a number of Indian automakers. Revoh has also sold BLDC controllers to customers in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
