D2C Ecommerce secures INR 60 million in its initial seed funding

D2C Ecommerce, an Indian multi-brand e-commerce platform, today announced its official launch in the country. The start-up has also raised INR 60 Million, in its seed funding round led by industry stalwarts including Ravi Khushwani, Founder of Greensoul Brand & other industry veterans.

As per a recent report commissioned by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and Praxis Global Alliance, D2C is a $12 billion market. By FY27, it is predicted that the market for all D2C brands would reach $60 billion, expanding at a CAGR of roughly 40%. D2C Ecommerce, is a brainchild of Manish Gupta, Ex- IIM A and an industry veteran with over 11 years of multi-faceted experience with renowned brands like Paytm Mall, Mahindra, Samsung, Amazon, Upscalio and ITC. The platform d2csale.com has been operational since August 2022.

The platform stated that it has a unique business proposition and develops its own brands across multiple home and lifestyle categories and sells them on its very own D2C platform. The current product categories include fitness, sports, beauty, cosmetics, apparel, accessories, books, food items, travel packages and technology. Its mission is to provide ‘Aspirational products at Affordable prices’ to every Indian household by catering to all age groups, income classes and delivers to Tier I, II, and III cities, across 20,000+ pincodes.

Speaking about the launch, Manish Gupta, CEO and Founder, D2Cecommerce said, “We are really excited to debut our first-of-its-kind multi-brand retail platform in the country.
