BIMTECH Greater Noida Drives Start-up Growth through SAMRIDH Program

The Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), a leading business school in India, is making significant strides in fostering start-up innovation and entrepreneurship through the SAMRIDH program. This initiative, launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), aims to nurture early-stage ventures and drive economic growth.

Under this program, AIC-BIMTECH has supported eight promising start-ups, five of which—Cunomial, Credit Siddhi, Origin Connect, Transport Simple, and Vacus—have secured ₹2 crores in funding from MeitY. Together, these start-ups contribute to an impressive aggregated valuation of ₹75 crores, aligning with India’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

Enabling Start-ups with Tailored Support

Dr. Prabina Rajib, Director of BIMTECH, emphasized the program’s impact:

“The SAMRIDH program has enabled BIMTECH to provide resources and insights tailored to the unique needs of early-stage ventures. By leveraging our research and faculty expertise, we are equipping start-ups with the knowledge they need to innovate and compete effectively.”

Dr. Shalini Singh, Chairperson of the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development and Acting CEO of AIC-BIMTECH, elaborated on the comprehensive support offered:

“At AIC BIMTECH, we go beyond offering co-working spaces. We provide invaluable mentorship, extensive networking, market access opportunities, investor connections, and various business development activities to ensure that start-ups are fully equipped to thrive in dynamic markets.”

The eight supported start-ups—Cunomial, Credit Siddhi, Origin Connect, Transport Simple, Vacus, Fabrik, Detrocel, and Ecotio—are making notable advancements in their fields. They are fostering innovation, creating jobs, generating revenue, and contributing to India’s economic growth.
