goSTOPS, a leading travel hostel brand catering to young travelers, has secured ₹35 crore in its Series A funding round, led by Blume Ventures with co-lead investment from 1Crowd. The fresh capital infusion will drive the company’s aggressive expansion plans as it looks to scale its presence across India.
Expanding the Footprint: From 2,500 to 10,000 Beds
Founded in 2014, goSTOPS has positioned itself as a category-defining brand in the youth travel segment. With the new funding, the company aims to increase its bed capacity from 2,500 to 10,000 across 100 locations within the next 24 months. This expansion is expected to propel its growth by four times, reinforcing goSTOPS’ commitment to making budget-friendly travel more accessible to India’s younger generation.
The funding round also saw participation from existing investors, including Mumbai Angels, Chennai Angels, Indian Angel Network, Lead Angels, and Yuj Ventures.

Pallavi Agarwal, Founder and CEO of goSTOPS, expressed her enthusiasm for the funding round, stating:
“This investment reflects the trust our investors have in our vision and the category we are building. With their continued support, we aim to scale goSTOPS into India’s most preferred youth travel brand—expanding our footprint while staying true to our promise of making travel accessible to young Indians.”
The capital will be utilized to strengthen operations, enhance technology, and improve the social and experiential elements of its hostels. Additionally, goSTOPS is finalizing debt partnerships to further accelerate its expansion strategy.
