CLR Facility Services Partners with BII for $15 Million Investment to Drive Inclusive and Sustainable Growth

CLR Facility Services Pvt Ltd (CLR), one of India’s leading integrated facility management solutions providers, has announced a strategic partnership with British International Investment (BII), the UK’s development finance institution and impact investor. As part of this collaboration, BII has committed $15 million (approximately INR 125 crore) to support CLR’s growth and expansion plans.

Focus on Workforce Expansion and Sustainable Impact

CLR currently employs 20,000 blue-collar workers, offering a wide range of facility management services, including cleaning, engineering, mechanical maintenance, and production support to corporate clients across India. The funding from BII will not only accelerate CLR’s expansion but will also create better employment opportunities, particularly for low-income groups and women.

The company has set ambitious targets to scale its workforce to over 50,000 employees in the next five to seven years, with a focus on promoting diversity and including more individuals from underserved communities in the formal employment sector. Additionally, part of the capital will be invested in setting up vocational training centres in tier-2 cities over the next five years to provide skill development opportunities for unskilled and semi-skilled workers.

Strengthening Sustainable Business Practices

Alongside growth, CLR is committed to strengthening its environmental and social governance (ESG) practices. The company is enhancing its health, safety, and HR processes to ensure the well-being of its workforce and to maintain high standards in sustainable operations.

Commenting on the partnership, Gaurav Pathak and Gautam Pathak, Promoters and Directors of CLR Facility Services, said: “Partnering with BII marks a pivotal moment in our journey toward inclusive and sustainable growth. We are pleased to support CLR’s vision, which strongly aligns with India’s broader goals of promoting inclusive job creation.”
