New Delhi, India – HCLSoftware, the enterprise software division of HCLTech, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Swiss Network in India, which includes the Embassy of Switzerland, the Swiss Business Hub India, and Swissnex in India. This MoU formalizes HCLSoftware’s participation in the Indo-Swiss Innovation Platform, a significant initiative established under the Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) framework.
The Indo-Swiss Innovation Platform aims to strengthen bilateral collaboration in digital infrastructure, with a focus on addressing public sector challenges through citizen-centric technologies. The partnership represents a key step forward in building a robust GovTech innovation corridor between India and Switzerland.
Driving Cross-Border Innovation in GovTech
With increasing demand for inclusive digital governance, this collaboration is expected to foster innovation across critical sectors such as e-governance, healthcare, education technology (EdTech), agritech, and sovereign collaboration. The platform will act as a catalyst for co-innovation by engaging a wide network of stakeholders including government agencies, academic institutions, startups, and technology enterprises from both countries.
Speaking about the partnership, Mrs. Maya Tissafi, Ambassador of Switzerland to India, said:
