Wattch Secures $6 Million Seed Funding to Accelerate Growth in Renewable Energy Monitoring and Control

The round was led by Spero Ventures, with additional participation from prominent investors Christopher Klaus and Paul Grana.

This fresh capital will be instrumental in expanding Wattch’s engineering and project implementation teams, accelerating time-to-market for its advanced controls capabilities, and enhancing customer acquisition across solar developers and independent power producers (IPPs).

Under the leadership of CEO Alex Nussey, Wattch has positioned itself at the forefront of Grid Edge platform development. The company empowers renewable energy systems—including solar, battery storage, and hydroelectric—with enhanced observability, intelligence, and control.
