Vennre named Dr. Ibrahim Almojel as Chairman of its Saudi Board

Vennre, a fast-growing wealth creation platform, has announced the appointment of Dr. Ibrahim Almojel as Chairman of its Board of Managers in Saudi Arabia. The move underscores the company’s commitment to building a strong footprint in the Kingdom, aligning with its ambition to support Saudi Arabia’s economic growth and its position as a regional fintech hub.

Expanding Access to Private Market Investments

Vennre is designed to democratize access to private markets for HENRYs (High Earners, Not Rich Yet), a segment historically excluded from opportunities reserved for institutional investors. The platform provides its users with investment access across real estate, private equity, and alternative assets, driving wealth creation for a new class of investors in the region.

Rapid Growth in Saudi Arabia and Beyond

In the past 18 months, Vennre has achieved significant milestones:

  • Facilitated SAR 100 million+ in transaction volume across private equity and real estate deals.

  • Onboarded over 1,500 users across EMEA, with the majority located in Saudi Arabia.

  • Launched 13 exclusive private market offerings.

  • Successfully rolled out its mobile app on iOS and Android, driving user adoption.

Since the launch of its app in September 2024, Vennre has scaled rapidly, growing transaction value fourfold and maintaining 20% month-on-month growth.

Leadership to Drive Next Stage of Growth

Dr. Almojel brings extensive expertise in finance, capital markets, and industrial development to his new role. He is the Co-Founder of Khwarizmi Holding, an investment firm focused on startups, real estate, and private equity, and previously served as CEO of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, where he expanded its capital base to SAR 105 billion to back large-scale projects.

His leadership record also includes serving as CEO of Wisayah Investment Company, Aramco’s investment arm, and board positions at SNB, STC, Hassana Investment Company, Awqaf Investment Company, and the Saudi EXIM Bank. Recognized by both the World Economic Forum and Forbes Middle East as a top regional executive, Dr. Almojel is regarded as one of Saudi Arabia’s most influential leaders in finance and industry.

Executive Perspectives

Speaking on his appointment, Dr. Ibrahim Almojel, Chairman of Vennre KSA, said:

“Vennre is at the forefront of transforming access to private markets for a new class of investors. As Chairman, I am honored to help steer the company at this pivotal stage and work with the team to shape Vennre into a leading regional wealthtech platform, expanding its impact in Saudi Arabia and beyond.”

With this appointment, Vennre reinforces its role as a key player in Saudi Arabia’s financial transformation journey, supporting the Kingdom’s ambitions under Vision 2030. The company aims to introduce a new investment model based on transparency, trust, and innovation, enabling the next generation of Saudis to access wealth-building opportunities while enhancing the country’s regional leadership in fintech and capital markets.
