Misochain Technologies raises Rs 18 Cr in seed round

Bengaluru, January 15, 2026Misochain Technologies, a Bengaluru-based aerospace deep-tech startup, has raised ₹18 crore in seed funding led by Capital-A, marking a major step forward in its mission to develop indigenous flight-critical components for India’s defence and global aviation sectors.

The fresh capital will be used to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, fast-track product certifications, and scale engineering, testing, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) capabilities for UAV makers and aerospace customers worldwide.

Building India’s Aerospace Manufacturing Future

Founded in 2019 by Rama Kandula and Murali Krishnan, Misochain Technologies focuses on designing and manufacturing critical aircraft components that have traditionally been imported by India’s aerospace sector.

The company’s growing product portfolio includes air data probes, actuators, vibration isolation systems, and solenoid valves, which are key components used in aircraft flight control, management, and performance systems.

“Our goal is to reduce India’s dependency on imported aerospace hardware by developing world-class, indigenous alternatives,” said Rama Kandula, Co-founder and CEO of Misochain Technologies. “This investment will help us strengthen our R&D, expand manufacturing capacity, and deliver globally certified components for both manned and unmanned platforms.”

Capital-Efficient Model and Advanced Engineering

Unlike traditional aerospace manufacturers, Misochain operates on a capital-efficient hybrid model. The company outsources precision machining to trusted partners while retaining design, assembly, testing, certification, and intellectual property (IP) in-house.

This approach allows Misochain to scale quickly without compromising on quality or control over proprietary technologies. The company has also developed specialized probe-heating systems designed for extreme flight environments, improving reliability and performance for both defence and commercial aviation applications.

“At Misochain, innovation isn’t just about cost efficiency—it’s about performance, reliability, and safety,” added Murali Krishnan, Co-founder and CTO. “Our indigenous technologies are being built to meet international standards while aligning with India’s ‘Make in India’ and self-reliance goals in aerospace manufacturing.”

Empowering India’s Deep-Tech Aerospace Ecosystem

The investment from Capital-A reflects growing confidence in India’s aerospace and defence manufacturing ecosystem, particularly in the deep-tech and UAV sectors, which are witnessing rapid global growth.

“We are proud to back Misochain Technologies as they build cutting-edge aerospace hardware from India,” said Ankit Kedia, Founder and Lead Investor at Capital-A. “The company’s technology-led approach and focus on indigenous innovation position it perfectly to serve both domestic and international aviation markets.”

Misochain is also part of MaXcel, a hardware and industrial technology accelerator jointly operated by Capital-A and SanchiConnect, which supports startups building advanced engineering and industrial tech solutions.

Focusing on Global Certification and Market Expansion

The newly raised funds will help Misochain accelerate certification programs to meet international aviation standards, enabling it to supply components to global aerospace OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and UAV manufacturers.

The company aims to position itself as a reliable, homegrown supplier of flight-critical systems, helping India emerge as a global manufacturing hub for aerospace components.

In the coming years, Misochain plans to expand its product line, collaborate with defence and space agencies, and explore partnerships with international aerospace manufacturers to integrate its technologies into next-generation flight systems.
