Mumbai, January 17, 2026 — Truva, a fast-growing proptech platform simplifying how Indians buy and sell resale homes, has raised ₹78 crore ($8.6 million) in its latest funding round. The round was led by Stellaris Venture Partners and Orios Venture Partners, both of whom were existing investors in the company.
Of the total capital raised, around $7.3 million (₹61 crore) came as equity investment, while $1.7 million (₹17 crore) was secured as venture debt from Stride Ventures.
The round also attracted participation from a notable group of angel investors, including Mukesh Bansal (Co-founder, Myntra and CureFit), Aakrit Vaish and Miten Sampat (Co-founders, PayCheque), Ramakant Sharma (Co-founder, LivSpace), Natasha Malpani Oswal (Founder, Boundless Ventures), and Ram Raheja (Managing Director, S Raheja Realty).
Fueling Expansion and Product Growth
With this new capital, Truva plans to accelerate its expansion, strengthen its technology stack, and enhance its product offerings to make buying and selling pre-owned homes faster, more transparent, and more reliable.
“On the expansion front, we’re currently active in seven micro-markets in Mumbai,” said Monil Singhal, Co-founder of Truva. “We plan to expand further within the city and enter two additional metro markets — Delhi and Bengaluru — starting in the second half of this year.”
The company’s focus remains on combining deep local expertise with a tech-first approach to simplify what has traditionally been a fragmented and opaque resale real estate segment in India.
Investor Confidence in Truva’s Vision
Investors have expressed strong confidence in Truva’s execution and market potential, particularly in India’s resale property category — an area poised for exponential growth.
“We’re excited to deepen our partnership with the Truva team,” said Ritesh Banglani, Partner at Stellaris Venture Partners. “Since backing them at the seed stage, they’ve demonstrated exceptional execution and built strong customer love in a complex and fragmented category. Their full-stack, brand-led approach, combined with strong micro-market execution and technology leverage, sets them apart.”
“Resale is a massive opportunity in India, and we believe Truva can build the country’s most trusted resale homes brand as they scale across cities,” Banglani added.
Revolutionizing the Resale Home Buying Experience
Founded in 2023 by Monil Singhal, Puneet Arora, and Ankit Gupta, Truva was built to address the pain points that millions of homebuyers face in the secondary housing market — including lack of transparency, inconsistent pricing, and complex paperwork.
Truva’s platform offers verified property listings, data-driven buyer insights, and end-to-end transaction support, including:
-
Home financing assistance
-
Legal and documentation services
-
Property registration support
By providing a one-stop digital experience backed by expert advisory, Truva simplifies what was once a stressful and time-consuming process.
A Growing Opportunity in India’s Property Market
India’s resale housing sector has long been underserved despite representing a significant share of real estate transactions. With rising urban demand, limited new housing supply in metro areas, and growing digital adoption, the market is ripe for transformation.
Truva’s data-backed approach aims to bring structure and reliability to this space, allowing buyers and sellers to transact with greater confidence. Its focus on micro-market specialization — understanding local price trends, regulations, and buyer behavior — further strengthens its positioning.
