Celebrity Entrepreneur Mira Kapoor’s Dhun Wellness secures $4 Million Funding

Mumbai-based wellness startup Dhun Wellness has raised $4 million (around ₹36.6 crore) in a funding round co-led by SRF Ltd and Havells India, as it looks to scale its luxury urban wellness model across key Indian cities.

The funding round also saw participation from several high-profile angel investors, including Arushi Aayush Agrawal, Ash Lilani, Tracxn co-founder Abhishek Goyal, Sanjay Kapoor, and others.

According to the company, the fresh capital will be used to expand Dhun Wellness’ footprint to Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad, strengthening its presence beyond Mumbai.

Blending Ancient Wisdom With Modern Longevity Science

Founded in 2023 by Mira Kapoor, Dhun Wellness operates as an urban wellness sanctuary aimed at modern city residents seeking holistic health solutions without travelling to remote retreats. The startup combines traditional Indian wellness practices such as Ayurveda, sound healing, and mindfulness with contemporary longevity therapies, including cryotherapy and infrared sauna treatments.

The brand’s core offering revolves around personalised seven-day wellness programmes, curated to support recovery, rejuvenation, and long-term well-being, while delivering a premium, spa-like experience tailored for urban lifestyles.

Personalised Wellness With a Preventive Focus

Dhun Wellness says its programmes are designed to address root causes of health imbalances, including fatigue, sleep disturbances, stress, and gut health issues. Each plan includes expert consultations, customised nutrition guidance, structured therapies, and at-home wellness protocols, backed by a 24/7 concierge service.

The startup aims to position wellness not as a short-term escape but as a preventive and sustainable health practice for individuals navigating high-pressure city environments.

Riding the Wellness Boom

The fundraise comes as the global health and wellness market is projected to reach $256.9 billion by 2033, driven by rising consumer awareness around preventive healthcare and personalised wellness solutions.

Dhun Wellness claims it is currently seeing 15% month-on-month growth in demand, reflecting growing interest in integrated and science-backed wellness offerings in urban India.

Building a Longevity-First Wellness Platform

Looking ahead, the Mumbai-based startup plans to build a dedicated longevity vertical focused on preventive care, personalised wellness protocols, and long-term health optimisation. With institutional backing and rapid expansion plans, Dhun Wellness is positioning itself at the intersection of luxury, wellness, and longevity in India’s evolving health ecosystem.
