Mumbai, January 30, 2026: NTT DATA, a global leader in AI, digital business, and technology services, has announced a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services to help enterprises modernise legacy systems, responsibly adopt agentic AI, and scale cloud-led innovation across industries.
The collaboration combines NTT DATA’s strengths in cloud transformation, cloud-native modernisation, and AI-driven services with AWS’s global infrastructure, security, and innovation ecosystem. Together, the companies aim to deliver industry-specific, enterprise-grade solutions that modernise mission-critical workloads, build secure cloud foundations, and generate measurable business outcomes—particularly in regulated and high-growth sectors.
Four Priority Areas of Enterprise Transformation
Under the agreement, NTT DATA and AWS will jointly accelerate enterprise adoption across four strategic focus areas:
AI-driven large-scale cloud transformation:
The partnership will speed up the migration and modernisation of on-premises workloads to AWS, leveraging generative AI, agentic AI, automation, and advanced data platforms to unlock new business models and enable intelligent operations.
Industry cloud solutions on AWS:
NTT DATA will expand its Industry Cloud platform, delivering repeatable, industry-specific solutions across financial services, healthcare, life sciences, public sector, manufacturing, retail, and energy. These offerings will draw on more than 500 extensible business components and AI agents.
AI and data innovation for managed services and customer experience:
The collaboration includes modernising contact centre solutions using Amazon Connect, accelerating global adoption of AI-driven customer experience (CX) platforms while ensuring security and regulatory compliance at scale.
Digital sovereignty and regulated cloud solutions:
As a launch partner for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, NTT DATA will provide sovereign-by-design cloud solutions and managed services, enabling European governments and enterprises to meet strict data residency and operational autonomy requirements without compromising on performance or security.
Building Capability and Talent at Scale
To support delivery, NTT DATA has created a dedicated AWS Business Group, aligned with AWS’s sales and delivery structure. The group currently includes nearly 11,000 AWS-certified professionals, with plans to certify an additional 10,000 experts over the next three years.
AWS will also support NTT DATA through co-innovation programmes, certifications, and joint client events, helping enterprises adopt AI-driven cloud solutions faster and with greater confidence.
