Sports Tech Startup Gamepoint Raises ₹7 Crore in Pre-Series A Funding

HYDERABAD, IndiaGamepoint, a technology-enabled sports startup focused on building professionally managed multi-sport centres, has raised ₹7 crore in a pre-Series A funding round. The round was co-led by Raj P Narayanam, founder of Zaggle, and Aditya Vuchi, with participation from Praveen Raju and other investors.

The company said the fresh capital will be deployed to expand its multi-sport centre network and strengthen its technology and operational capabilities as it scales its footprint across India.

Building Neighbourhood Multi-Sport Centres

Co-founded by Aditya Reddy and Siddharth Reddy, Gamepoint aims to make learning and playing sports more accessible and convenient for people across age groups. The startup operates professionally managed, technology-enabled multi-sport centres that cater to children, adults, and corporate clients.

Gamepoint’s centres offer structured coaching programmes for children, flexible membership and pay-and-play options for adults, and end-to-end sports event management solutions for corporates, all delivered in a safe, hygienic, and well-managed environment.

Infrastructure and Sports Offerings

The Hyderabad-based startup’s facilities feature international-standard courts and playing fields, specialised coaching programmes, curated membership plans, and on-site sports retail stores. Gamepoint follows a “neighbourhood sports centre” model, operating through a mix of owned centres and potential franchise-led expansion.

Currently, Gamepoint operates a chain of multi-sport centres across Hyderabad and Warangal, offering infrastructure for a wide range of sports, including badminton, basketball, pickleball, squash, football, cricket, table tennis, and swimming.

Rapid Growth and Ambitious Expansion Plans

Over the next five years, Gamepoint plans to scale to more than 300 multi-sport centres across metro, Tier I, and Tier II cities, with the goal of enabling over one crore people to play sports in India.

To date, the company claims to have:

  • Trained over 12,000 students

  • Enabled more than 3 lakh individuals to participate in sports

  • Organised over 700 sports events across formats and client segments

Competitive Landscape

Gamepoint operates in a growing and competitive sports infrastructure and coaching market, competing directly or indirectly with players such as Premier Badminton Coaching Academy, Machaxi, KheloMore, and Huddl, among others.

With increasing focus on fitness, structured sports training, and community-based recreation, Gamepoint is positioning itself as a scalable platform at the intersection of sports infrastructure, coaching, and technology in India.
