Optical Fiber Tools Startup Digital Striker Raises $1 Mn in Funding

NEW DELHI, IndiaDigital Striker, a startup operating in the optical fiber tools and equipment segment, has raised $1 million (approximately ₹8.5 crore) in a funding round led by Foxhog Ventures.

The funding will support the company’s transition from an import-led distribution model to local manufacturing, while also strengthening its operational footprint across India.

Funding Allocation and Expansion Plans

According to the startup, ₹5–6 crore from the funding will be deployed toward setting up a manufacturing facility, hiring skilled talent, and establishing offices in major metro cities. The remaining capital will be used to continue import operations during the initial phase, ensuring uninterrupted supply as local manufacturing capabilities are scaled up.

Building India-Focused Optical Fiber Equipment

Founded in 2021 by Priyanka, Digital Striker supplies a wide range of optical fiber tools and equipment, including fiber strippers, cleavers, visual fault locators, power meters, and splicing machines. These products are used extensively in telecom, broadband, and network infrastructure projects.

At present, the company imports its product range and distributes it through a pan-India reseller network. With the new funding, Digital Striker plans to begin local manufacturing with an initial portfolio of 5–7 products, gradually expanding the lineup over time.

Strong Reseller Network and Revenue Traction

Digital Striker claims to have built a network of more than 450 resellers and end customers across the country. Despite operating as a bootstrapped startup, the company reported a turnover of ₹8.85 crore over the past 40 months, highlighting steady demand for optical fiber tools amid India’s expanding digital and telecom infrastructure.

Scaling Manufacturing and Distribution

Looking ahead, Digital Striker plans to scale up its manufacturing operations over the next few years, aligning with the broader push toward domestic manufacturing and supply-chain localisation. The company also aims to expand its distribution footprint further, strengthening availability across Tier I, Tier II, and emerging telecom markets.

With rising investments in broadband connectivity, 5G rollout, and digital infrastructure, Digital Striker is positioning itself as a homegrown supplier of critical optical fiber equipment for India’s growing network ecosystem.
