Kerala, India, feb, 9, 2026 – Kerala-based healthcare startup Preventify has raised ₹2 crore in pre-seed funding to scale its preventive and chronic care model across non-metro India. The funding round was led by PedalStart, with participation from prominent angel investors including Viren Shetty of Narayana Health, Jatin Kakrani of Dezy, founders of Supertails and Agrizy, along with several senior leaders from India’s healthcare ecosystem.
The fresh capital will be used to launch Preventify’s first 10 clinics, expand care programs for chronic and lifestyle-related diseases, and strengthen its technology, diagnostics, and pharmacy capabilities.
Addressing Continuity Gaps in Non-Metro Healthcare
Founded by Nirmal NR and Dr. Rakesh, Preventify focuses on preventive healthcare and long-term disease management, particularly in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities where access to care exists but treatment journeys are often fragmented.
“Healthcare in Tier-2 and Tier-3 India is not an access problem anymore—it’s a consistency and continuity problem,” said Nirmal NR, Co-Founder and CEO of Preventify. “Patients may have access to doctors, labs, and pharmacies, but care is episodic and disconnected. Our goal is to build standardised, protocol-driven, and affordable care models that manage patients over time, especially for chronic conditions.”
He added that the funding will help Preventify strengthen clinical teams, expand clinic clusters, and invest in systems that deliver reliable outcomes at scale.
Focus on Chronic and Lifestyle Diseases
Preventify primarily supports patients dealing with long-term conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory diseases. Its model combines in-clinic consultations with digital health monitoring, diagnostics, pharmacy support, and regular follow-ups, enabling continuous care rather than one-time treatment.
The startup currently operates three clinics in Kerala and claims to have treated over 40,000 patients so far.
Investor Confidence in Scalable Care Models
Backing the company, Manas Pal and Aditya Darolia, Co-Founders of PedalStart, said Preventify is addressing one of the most pressing challenges in India’s healthcare system.
“Standardised and affordable chronic care outside metro cities remains a major gap,” they said. “Preventify has shown strong execution discipline, early clinical traction, and a clear understanding of how to scale healthcare responsibly. Their cluster-based clinic approach and focus on long-term patient outcomes align with our belief in building sustainable healthcare businesses.”
Expansion Plans Ahead
Over the next 12 to 18 months, Preventify plans to:
-
Open additional clinics across Kerala
-
Hire more doctors, nurses, care coordinators, and medical support staff
-
Launch subscription-based healthcare programs to ensure continuous patient engagement and follow-up
By combining physical clinics with digital tools and structured care pathways, Preventify aims to build a scalable chronic care platform tailored for India’s growing non-metro population.
As chronic diseases continue to rise across the country, Preventify’s approach highlights a shift toward preventive, long-term, and outcome-driven healthcare models beyond India’s largest cities.
