AI software testing startup BotGauge AI raises $2 Mn In Funding

Software testing startup BotGauge AI has raised $2 million (approximately ₹17 crore) in a funding round led by Surface Ventures, with participation from IA Seed Ventures and Saka Ventures. The funding marks an important milestone for the young company as it looks to scale its AI-driven quality assurance platform globally.

The newly raised capital will be used to accelerate product development, expand BotGauge AI’s engineering and research teams, and support international expansion, with a particular focus on the United States market. The company aims to address growing demand from software teams seeking faster release cycles and more reliable testing outcomes as applications become increasingly complex.

Founded in 2024 by Pramin Pradeep, Naresh Kumar Rajendran, Vivek Nair, and Sreepad Krishnan Mavila, BotGauge AI is building a next-generation automated software testing platform designed to reduce dependence on manual quality assurance. The platform leverages autonomous AI agents that can manage end-to-end testing workflows, from test creation and execution to validation and reporting.

BotGauge AI positions itself at the intersection of AI and DevOps, targeting engineering teams that want to improve software quality while cutting down on time-consuming manual testing processes. By automating repetitive and complex QA tasks, the platform aims to help organisations shorten release cycles, detect defects earlier, and maintain consistent performance across frequent deployments.

As enterprises increasingly adopt continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices, automated testing has become a critical part of modern software development. BotGauge AI’s focus on autonomous agents reflects a broader shift toward AI-powered quality assurance, where testing systems can adapt, learn, and scale alongside evolving codebases.

With fresh funding and early investor backing, BotGauge AI plans to strengthen its product capabilities and establish itself as a global player in the AI-driven software testing and quality assurance market.
