Greenie Energy Raises $600,000 in Seed Funding to Revolutionize EV Charging Across India

Greenie Energy, a pioneering start-up in the EV charging technology space, has successfully raised $600,000 (₹5 crore) in seed funding. The round was led by Rajesh Advani, Managing Director of Sun-N-Sand Hotels, with additional backing from AIC Pinnacle Entrepreneurship Forum, Ashwin Ramesh (Co-Founder, Primary Advisors), and Rajaram Ajgaonkar (R M Ajgaonkar and Associates, Chartered Accountants).

The fresh capital will enable Greenie Energy to accelerate its mission of deploying 5,000+ EV charging points by the end of 2025, alongside the development of scalable, innovative products designed to cater to India’s growing electric vehicle (EV) market.

Greenie Energy specializes in cost-effective and convenient EV charging solutions designed for mass-scale deployment in housing societies, commercial buildings, and public parking spaces. The company’s flagship product—a smart hardware solution—converts ordinary electrical sockets into intelligent EV charging points, all managed seamlessly through the Greenie Energy mobile application.

“I’m thrilled to share that Greenie Energy has already installed 550+ charging points across 120+ locations in six Indian cities, in partnership with housing societies, real estate developers, and hotel chains,” said Istayak Ansari, Director and Co-Founder of Greenie Energy. “This funding will allow us to scale up operations and meet our goal of 5,000+ charging points by 2025, while also innovating in-house products to support India’s EV revolution.”

As India progresses toward a sustainable future, the demand for reliable and accessible EV charging infrastructure is on the rise. Greenie Energy’s innovative solutions are strategically positioned to address this need, enabling mass EV adoption through its efficient and scalable technology.

With the funds secured, Greenie Energy plans to focus on:

  • Expanding EV charging infrastructure to over 5,000 locations by 2025.
  • Developing new and scalable in-house charging products.
  • Strengthening partnerships with housing societies, real estate developers, and commercial establishments.

Greenie Energy’s efforts align with India’s growing push for electric mobility, offering critical support to the nation’s sustainability goals. With over 550 charging points already operational, the company is set to play a pivotal role in making EV charging convenient, affordable, and accessible for consumers across the country.
