Architect Financial Technologies Secures $35M Series A Funding to Expand Its Global Derivatives Exchange Platform

Chicago, Illinois — Architect Financial Technologies, a leading provider of institutional trading technology and global derivatives exchange services, has successfully raised $35 million in Series A funding.

The investment round was led by Miami International Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: MIAX) and Tioga Capital, with additional participation from a strong lineup of institutional investors including Galaxy Ventures, ARK Invest, VanEck, Trumid, Geneva Trading, Coinbase Ventures, Strobe Ventures, CMT Digital, and Third Kind Venture Capital.

Accelerating the Growth of AX Exchange

With this new funding, Architect Financial Technologies plans to accelerate the expansion of its flagship platform, AX — a centralized exchange for perpetual futures across traditional asset classes such as foreign currencies, interest rates, and commodities. The company’s goal is to redefine institutional trading by providing high-performance technology and deep liquidity in global derivatives markets.

About Architect Financial Technologies

Founded and led by Brett Harrison, Architect Financial Technologies delivers advanced institutional trading technology, U.S. electronic brokerage services, and operates a Bermuda-regulated multi-asset perpetual futures exchange for institutional clients.

The AX exchange is designed for hedge funds, market makers, family offices, asset managers, insurance and reinsurance companies, and institutional lenders in eligible jurisdictions, providing them with reliable access to diversified futures trading.

Building on Strong Momentum

This Series A milestone follows a $5 million pre-seed round in 2023 and a $12 million seed round in 2024, culminating in the official launch of the AX exchange in November 2025. The latest funding will fuel continued innovation and market expansion, reinforcing Architect’s position as a leader in institutional-grade digital trading infrastructure.
