Cupid Ltd Invests ₹332 Crore in Style Baazar

Mumbai, January 2026 — In a strategic move to accelerate its retail expansion, Cupid Ltd has announced an investment of ₹332 crore in Baazar Style Retail (Style Baazar) — one of India’s leading value retail chains with a presence of over 250 stores across key markets.

The investment, which will be deployed over the next 18 months, will be funded entirely through internal accruals, underscoring Cupid’s strong financial position and long-term commitment to scaling its retail operations.

Strengthening Retail Synergies

The partnership marks a pivotal step in Cupid’s strategy to enhance market access, brand visibility, and consumer engagement. By integrating Cupid’s manufacturing scale, brand-building expertise, and supply chain efficiency with Style Baazar’s established retail network, the collaboration aims to create a seamless go-to-market strategy across India’s rapidly growing value retail segment.

Cupid expects to generate ₹150 crore in incremental revenue by FY27 through the Style Baazar ecosystem, with a clear roadmap to reach ₹500 crore in annual business within three years.

Retail Expansion for Deeper Consumer Reach

Aditya Kumar Halwasiya, Chairman & Managing Director, Cupid Ltd., said, “This strategic investment marks an important milestone in strengthening our retail presence and expanding consumer reach. As Style Baazar’s footprint grows to over 500 stores in the coming years, Cupid’s products will become an integral part of this journey, enabling greater accessibility and deeper market engagement.”

Style Baazar’s extensive store footprint — concentrated in Tier-II and Tier-III cities — provides Cupid with direct access to high-growth regional markets. This will allow Cupid to reach new consumer bases faster and with higher efficiency, positioning it as a stronger player in India’s evolving FMCG and retail ecosystem.

Driving Long-Term Growth and Market Penetration

Cupid plans to leverage this strategic investment to diversify its retail touchpoints, introduce new consumer product categories, and build stronger brand loyalty through omnichannel strategies. The integration is expected to significantly enhance Cupid’s distribution capabilities, while supporting Style Baazar’s expansion to more than 500 stores over the next few years.

This move aligns with Cupid’s broader vision to establish a robust retail-driven growth model, strengthen its position in India’s consumer goods market, and tap into the growing demand for value-based, accessible retail experiences.
