NEW YORK | Enterprise AI platform Loop AI has raised $14 million in Series A funding in a round led by Nyca Partners, as the company accelerates growth in AI-powered back-office solutions for the restaurant industry.
The funding round also saw participation from Gokul Rajaram, Base10, Afore Capital, Converge, Alumni Ventures, Data Tech Fund, John Pepper, 9Yards Capital, and Operators Studio.
As part of the financing, Osama Bedier will join Loop AI’s board of directors.
Expanding AI-Driven Restaurant Operations
The fresh capital will be used to expand Loop AI’s product suite and scale its teams across New York, San Francisco, Tampa, and Bengaluru, reflecting the company’s growing global footprint. Loop AI also plans to invest further in AI-driven workflows designed to help restaurant operators manage delivery profitably without eroding in-store margins.
Founded in 2022, Loop AI has built an enterprise AI platform focused on restaurant and retail back-office operations, enabling brands to manage delivery-led workflows, finance, operations, and marketing through automation.
Addressing Margin Pressure in Delivery and Takeout
Food delivery and takeout have become among the fastest-growing revenue channels for restaurants, but they often introduce margin pressure due to platform fees and operational complexity. Loop AI positions its software as a solution to this challenge, helping brands improve profitability while scaling off-premise channels.
The company said its platform is designed to give operators greater control and visibility across their delivery ecosystem, using AI to streamline workflows and decision-making.
Rapid Customer Growth Across the US
Loop AI said it currently works with more than 300 restaurant brands, supporting thousands of restaurant locations across the United States. Since 2024, the company has reported sixfold growth, driven largely by increased adoption among mid-sized and large restaurant chains.
Restaurant brands including Lazy Dog and Starbird use Loop AI’s platform to improve delivery performance, operational efficiency, and back-office coordination.
Investor Bet on Enterprise AI for Restaurants
Investors backing the Series A round pointed to the growing demand for enterprise AI solutions tailored to vertical-specific use cases, particularly in industries like restaurants where margins are thin and operational efficiency is critical.
With delivery expected to remain a core growth driver for the restaurant industry, Loop AI is positioning itself as a key infrastructure provider for AI-powered restaurant operations at scale.
