Deccan AI Raises $25M to Build Next-Gen Enterprise AI Systems Beyond Chatbots

Deccan AI, a fast-growing AI infrastructure startup, has secured $25 million in a funding round led by A91 Partners, with participation from Susquehanna and existing investor Prosus Ventures.

The fresh capital will support the company’s mission to build highly accurate, enterprise-grade AI systems and strengthen its presence in the rapidly evolving artificial intelligence landscape.

Funding to Accelerate AI Model Performance and Enterprise Tools

Deccan AI plans to utilize the newly raised funds to:

  • Enhance post-training performance of AI models
  • Build advanced enterprise tools for AI deployment
  • Expand capabilities in robotics and data infrastructure

Founder Rukesh Reddy highlighted a key industry shift, stating that AI is moving beyond basic chatbot applications toward more complex, mission-critical systems.

“Businesses now need AI systems that can handle high-stakes logic, not just demos,” he noted, emphasizing the growing demand for reliability and precision.

Rising Need for AI Evaluation and Monitoring

According to Kaushik Anand, the AI industry is entering a new phase where execution matters more than experimentation.

“As organizations scale AI adoption, evaluation and monitoring are becoming essential rather than optional,” Anand said, underlining the importance of robust infrastructure.

From AI Training to Enterprise Solutions

Founded in 2023, Deccan AI initially focused on data processing and training AI models for advanced research labs. Since then, the company has pivoted toward delivering enterprise-ready AI solutions.

Its platform enables businesses to:

These solutions help organizations integrate AI into core operations seamlessly.

Expanding Client Base and Global Presence

The startup is targeting large enterprises, including Fortune 500 companies, and has already secured notable clients such as:

  • Google DeepMind
  • Snowflake

Currently, Deccan AI serves around 10 clients while managing multiple active projects simultaneously.

India Expansion and New Office in Bengaluru

As part of its growth strategy, Deccan AI is expanding its footprint in India with a new office in Bengaluru, complementing its existing presence in San Francisco and Hyderabad.

This move aligns with the company’s ambition to tap into India’s growing AI talent pool and enterprise demand.

Industry Outlook

The funding comes at a time when businesses worldwide are accelerating AI adoption. As organizations move from experimentation to large-scale deployment, the demand for robust AI infrastructure, monitoring tools, and automation systems is expected to surge.

Deccan AI is positioning itself at the forefront of this shift by building scalable, enterprise-focused AI solutions.
