Aliste Technologies Raises ₹30 Cr to Scale AI-Powered Energy Management Platform

Aliste Technologies has secured ₹30 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round, comprising a mix of equity and debt. The round was led by Big Global JSC, with participation from existing investor YourNest Venture Capital and manufacturing partner HBeon Labs.

The fresh capital will be used to accelerate R&D in energy-focused solutions, strengthen distribution, and expand into new areas of sustainable energy management.

From Shark Tank Startup to Enterprise Energy Platform

Founded in 2021 by a group of VIT graduates, Aliste Technologies initially gained visibility as a D2C smart home brand on Shark Tank India.

Since then, the company has pivoted into a full-scale enterprise energy management provider, serving sectors such as:

  • Hospitality
  • Co-living spaces
  • Retail and commercial establishments

The startup is now focused on building an intelligence layer for energy consumption, enabling businesses to monitor, control, and optimize usage in real time.

Building a Smart Energy Layer Across Infrastructure

Aliste’s core offering lies in its end-to-end IoT and energy management platform, which integrates seamlessly with existing infrastructure.

Its solutions function as a “smart layer” across buildings, delivering actionable insights into energy usage and operational efficiency.

Key Offerings Include:

1. Smart Energy Monitoring (Co-Living)

  • Integrates with electrical systems to detect energy leaks
  • Enables transparent and prepaid billing systems
  • Improves collection efficiency (up to 30% for partners like Stanza Living)

2. Energy Management Systems (Retail & QSR)

  • Tracks equipment performance using energy signature analysis
  • Reduces electricity costs by up to 20%
  • Provides early alerts to prevent equipment failure

3. Revenue & Energy Leakage Protection (Hospitality)

  • Cuts electricity expenses by up to 15%
  • Prevents misuse of rooms and energy resources

Positioned at the Intersection of AI and Rising Energy Costs

Investors believe Aliste is well-positioned to benefit from the rising cost of energy and increasing adoption of AI-driven systems.

Preetinder Panjrath, CFO at BIG Capital, noted that as AI adoption grows, energy demand and costs are expected to rise significantly—impacting business margins and consumer spending.

Aliste’s platform addresses this challenge by helping enterprises optimize energy consumption and reduce operational costs, making sustainability a financial advantage rather than just a compliance requirement.

Scaling Impact Across India

Aliste Technologies currently manages:

  • 3 million units of energy consumption per month
  • Over 1.5 lakh IoT-enabled assets
  • Operations across 20+ cities and towns in India

Through its solutions, the company is reducing approximately 3,28,000 kilograms of CO₂ emissions every month, equivalent to planting more than 13,000 mature trees.

Looking ahead, Aliste aims to 10x its environmental impact within the next year and establish itself as a leading energy management platform in India and global markets.

Aliste Technologies

Aliste Technologies is an India-based energy management and IoT startup focused on reducing electricity consumption and improving billing efficiency for buildings. Background and evolution

Aliste was founded in 2021 by a group of VIT Vellore batchmates. The company first appeared in public view as a D2C smart home brand, even featuring on Shark Tank India Season 1 with retrofit automation devices for regular homes. Over time, the team pivoted from purely consumer smart home products to a deeper B2B and B2B2C focus on energy intelligence for buildings.

Products and technology

Aliste builds proprietary IoT hardware and software that install as a “smart layer” over existing electrical infrastructure. Core offerings include:

  • Smart submeters and panels that monitor energy usage in real time

  • Prepaid energy and automated billing systems for co-living / PG properties

  • Energy management systems for retail and quick-service restaurants, tracking equipment efficiency and alerting before breakdowns

  • Revenue and energy leakage monitors for hotels, helping cut waste from wrongful or unauthorized room usage

These solutions are generally retrofit-friendly, designed to work with existing wiring and distribution boards, minimizing capex and operational disruption.
