New Delhi: Digital health platform ekincare has acquired Superclaims, an AI-powered health insurance claims automation platform, in a strategic move to strengthen its healthcare technology ecosystem and expand its presence in the insurance and health benefits sector.
The acquisition is expected to enhance ekincare’s capabilities in health insurance claims processing while creating a more connected digital healthcare platform for employers, employees, insurers, healthcare providers, and third-party administrators (TPAs).
The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Superclaims Leadership to Continue Post Acquisition
As part of the acquisition, Bhavish Ramaswamy, Co-founder and CEO of Superclaims, Maneesh Daithala, Co-founder and CTO, along with the company’s leadership team, will continue in their existing roles and report to ekincare’s senior leadership.
Superclaims will continue to operate as an independent brand while leveraging ekincare’s technology platform and distribution network to expand its customer base and accelerate growth.
Acquisition Strengthens Insurance and AI Capabilities
The acquisition will enable ekincare to deepen its presence among insurance companies and third-party administrators (TPAs), while strengthening relationships with existing enterprise customers.
The combined platform is expected to unlock new opportunities for cross-selling healthcare and insurance products while supporting ekincare’s expansion into international markets with AI-powered insurance technology solutions.
By integrating claims automation with digital healthcare services, the company aims to improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and simplify healthcare administration.
Building a Connected Healthcare Ecosystem
Commenting on the acquisition, Kiran Kalakuntla, Co-founder & CEO, ekincare, said:
“Healthcare has traditionally evolved in silos. Employers manage benefits; providers deliver care, while insurers and TPAs process claim independently. We believe the future of healthcare lies in connecting these ecosystems through intelligence. Superclaims brings the missing insurance layer onto our platform, enabling us to build digital healthcare infrastructure that serves every stakeholder, from employers and employees to providers, insurers and TPAs. This moves us beyond healthcare benefits towards creating a truly connected healthcare ecosystem.”
AI to Simplify Health Insurance Claims
Bhavish Ramaswamy, Founder & CEO, Superclaims, added:
“At Superclaims, we’ve always believed that claims should be a source of confidence, not complexity. By using AI to automate one of healthcare’s most manual processes, we’ve helped insurers and TPAs make faster and more accurate decisions. Joining ekincare enables us to take that impact further by connecting claims with the broader healthcare ecosystem, creating a more seamless experience for every stakeholder involved.”
