Chennai Based Agri Tech Startup Veg Route Raises $125K

Veg Route, a B2C fresh vegetable Agritech supply chain, announced today that it has received $125K in Pre-Seed Funding. The round was headed by Mohan K, CEO & Mr. Jai Kumar, CTO of Ippopay, Prabhu R, Co-Founder of M2P Fintech, and Omar Bin Brek, Founder of UAE-based Fin-Tech Startup Foloosi.

Veg Route is assisting farmers by removing the need for middlemen. Veg Route is developing a digital and data-driven supply chain platform that allows farmers to sell their food at the best possible price.

Veg Route plans to use the new funding to expand into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities by leveraging technology, as well as to establish a strong in-house staff that will help the company reach 300 destinations across India by 2025.
