Samosa Party secures pre-Series A funding

QSR brand Samosa Party has raised $2 million in a pre-Series A round by Kalaari Capital.

Samosa Party, a snack-focused cloud kitchen platform supported by angel investment platform Inflection Point Ventures, has received $2 million (Rs 15 crore) in its pre-Series A funding round.

Samosa Party, founded by Amit Nanwani and Diksha Pande in 2017, delivers a variety of samosas and tea to customers’ doorsteps.

The company now has 15 locations in Bengaluru and Gurugram, with aspirations to expand to more than 100 locations throughout Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bangalore.

Since last year, the company claims to have doubled its presence and tripled its revenue, and it is now aiming for a 5X increase.

In the Indian QSR market, the company is aiming for a $3.65 billion opportunity.
