Gurucool scoops up $150k pre-seed funding

Gurucool

Gurucool, an ed-tech firm, has acquired $150k in pre-seed funding from Parvez Jasani, an angel investor, and FreeFlow Venture Builders.

The funds will be used to establish a strong team, strengthen the company’s technical platform, and expand the company’s operations both in India and beyond.

Gurucool, founded by Adil Meraj and Khansa Fahad in 2019, enables schools and institutions to go online and construct their digital infrastructure with more than 25 tools and a large content pool, allowing learners to search, engage with, and learn from them.

In conjunction with a few state governments, the Delhi-based portal hopes to introduce the Padhaai India tool, which would include over 3000 courses in eight regional languages.
