Digital identity and authentication platform Bureau raises $12M

Bureau, a frictionless identity verification and fraud protection platform, announced on Thursday that it has raised $12 million in a Series A round led by Quona Capital and Commerce Ventures, with participation from Okta Identity and strategic angels Mark Britto, EVP Chief Product Officer at Paypal, and Bobby Mehta, Retd. President and CEO of TransUnion.

In 2020, serial entrepreneur Ranjan Reddy created Bureau, just as the Covid epidemic was driving the world toward digital transactions. It has aided organisations in automating decision-making, onboarding good consumers, preventing fraud, and enabling seamless user experiences. Bureau checks, identifies, combats fraud, and builds consumer and business confidence.

Bureau’s platform seamlessly protects and accelerates user journeys using only a mobile number. Digital interactions become smoother, swifter and more secure,” said Ranjan Reddy, Founder and CEO of Bureau.
