Atomberg Technology, a consumer product company, has raised $20 million in growth funding from Jungle Ventures and Inflexor Ventures. Existing investors such as A91 Partners and notable angel investor Ramakant Sharma, Co-founder of Livspace, also participated in the round.
Atomberg, founded in 2012 by Manoj and Sibabrata Das, invented the ‘Brushless DC Motor’ (BLDC) technology for ceiling fans in India and has continued to innovate and improve on it.
When compared to the previous year, Atomberg expanded by 2x in 2020-21 and is on track to grow by 2.2x in 2021-22.
“Atomberg was already a digital-first/ecomm-first brand, and the increase in digitally impacted sales as a result of Covid helped Atomberg develop considerably faster,” Manoj continued.
