Chiratae Ventures (Formerly IDG Ventures) and Lenskart Vision Fund led a $4 million pre-Series A investment for Adloid, an AR builder platform. Prashant Pitti, co-founder of EaseMyTrip, Seeders, and 100x Entrepreneur have all invested in the fresh round.

Adloid is renaming to Metadome with this round, a metaverse that will give no-code infrastructure to virtual world makers and businesses.

Metadome, founded by Shorya Mahajan, Prashant Sinha, and Kanav Singla, offers AR installations in the automotive, home-decor, beauty and accessories, and consumer electronics industries. Hewlett Packard (HP), Tata Motors, Hero MotoCorp, Asian Paints, and other industry giants collaborate with the startup to develop immersive 3D and AR experiences for its customers.

According to the Gurugram-based business, it will grow its product and technology teams, as well as invite the creator community to help construct a metaverse capable of hosting 1 billion experiences per day by 2023. To support its enterprise solutions, it also wants to improve customer success and delivery in North America and other locations.
