Shark Tank India To Invests Rs 5 M In Skincare Start-up CosIQ

CosIQ, a four-month-old start-up aiming to be an intelligent skincare brand, received a seed round of funding of $5 million from Shark Tank India in its fourth episode on December 23rd.

Kanika Talwar and her husband are the founders of the four-month-old company. It’s a new molecular skincare company that offers a variety of products with scientific backing and demonstrable results. Shark Tank India’s judges Ms. Vineeta Singh, CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics, and Anupam Mittal, Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com – Peoples Group, have invested in the skincare company for a 25% stake.

Commenting on the funding Angad Talwar, Co-Founder, CosIQ said “Getting the seed funds from Shark Tank India is a validation of our idea to create a revolution in the skincare industry with clinically proven and research-driven products. We plan to invest this amount to drive more innovation and bring cutting edge ingredients with safe formulations to the Indian market.”
