B2B etailer Geniemode raises $7 million

Geniemode, a B2B cross-border sourcing and supply chain technology company for businesses, has raised $7 million (about Rs 52.5 crore) in a Series A investment led by Info Edge Ventures.

Geniemode Global Pvt Ltd was created in March 2021 by Amit Prakash Sharma and Tanuj Gangwani with the goal of organising the global sourcing and supply chain sector. Both the foundersi have worked for e-commerce companies such as Limeroad, Fabfurnish, and FashionandYou for the past two decades.

Geniemode raised $2.25 million in September, led by Info Edge Ventures and including Deepinder Goyal of Zomato, Kunal Shah of CRED, and Prashant Malik of Apache Cassandra, among others.

Commenting on the latest funding Amit Sharma, CEO and co-founder, Geniemode, said “We will be deploying the fundraise to boost tech and product development, accelerate expansion in existing markets and enter new markets,”.
