Dogsee Chew Raises 50Cr In Series A Funding From Mankind Pharma

Mankind Pharma and previous investor Sixth Sense Ventures led a Rs. 50 crore Series A investment for Dogsee Chew. This is Mankind Pharma’s first foray into the pet food market.

Dogsee Chew is the only firm that offers 100% vegetarian dog treats, and it was founded by Bhupendra Khanal and Sneh Sharma, a husband-and-wife team. With all of the extra preservatives and chemicals, the young company is taking on the rawhide treat market, which they think is particularly dangerous to dogs. Dogsee Chew snacks, on the other hand, are all-natural, human-grade, and protein-rich, making them a major hit with pet parents all over the world. Dogsee Chew is now India’s fourth largest pet food exporter, with customers in over 30 countries.

Speaking on the investment Sneh Sharma, Dogsee Chew co-founder mentioned, “With Mankind, we share the common DNA of innovation. We are confident that with their support, we will be able to develop the niche that we have envisioned for the brand.” She also added, “Sixth Sense Ventures has been a great partner for us. We are excited to be deepening our partnership with this round. It speaks a lot about the trust and comfort we have established between us in such a short span of time.”
