As part of the Pre Series A round, Angels and IIM Udaipur Incubation Center invested in LegalKart, a Gurgaon-based legal-tech business.
LegalKart was founded in 2018 and obtained seed funding of about 3.5 crore from a group of angel investors in 2019. More than 1 lakh consumers have been served, and the platform now includes over 10,000 lawyers in over 900 locations across India, including different cities, districts, and distant places. In India, there is a deficit of 19 billion consultation minutes per year; LegalKart currently clocks 4 lakh consultation minutes per year and wants to increase this to 20 lakh minutes per year in the near future.
