Healthtech startup Proactive For Her raises $5.5M in Series A Funding

Proactive For Her, a women’s healthcare firm, raised $5.5 million in a Series A fundraising round headed by Vertex Ventures SEA and India and previous investor Nexus Venture Partners on Wednesday.

Achitha Jacob, an IIT-Bombay alumna, created Proactive For Her in 2020 with the goal of delivering judgement-free, progressive, body-positive, queer affirmative, and trauma-informed healthcare services and consultations.

Nexus Venture Partners and Enzia Ventures provided $1.2 million in seed funding to the company. Over 25 of India’s largest corporations have joined forces with us. Teleconsultations, diagnostics, and long-term programmes are the three main items of Proactive For Her. Consultations are available for as little as Rs 500, which helps the startup stand out from the competition.

The funds will be used to develop the startup’s digital product offering, construct an offline flagship clinic in Bengaluru, and grow its online customer base, according to the company.
