Cold chain startup Celcius raises $4.5 million in bridge funding

Celcius, a cold chain marketplace, has raised $4.5 million in pre-Series A funding from Mumbai Angels, Supply Chain Labs, Endurance Capital, VCats, Keiretsu Forum, Huddle, EVAN, and other investors.

Celcius, situated in Mumbai, was founded in November 2020 by Swarup Bose, Arbind Jain, and Rajneesh Raman. It is India’s first cold chain marketplace. It provides a SaaS cold-chain aggregator platform where perishable products transporters and manufacturers can book a reefer truck or cold storage and match with one other based on availability and demand.

Celcius has added 2500 cars, 107 cold storage facilities, expanded operations to over 150 cities, and grown more than 20 times faster than expected.
