Lightbulb.ai, an emotion ai and engagement analytics platform based in Mumbai, India, has raised $1.5 million in pre-seed funding.
Chiratae Ventures and 9Unicorns led the round, with Anthill Ventures and VideoVerse joining as investors.
Lightbulb.ai intends to use the new funds to expand the datasets for its machine-learning technology and to broaden its product offering of emotion and engagement insights.
Lightbulb.ai was founded by Ritu, Yogesh Sachdeva, and Vishal to produce real-time emotion AI and engagement analytics for remote engagements through computer vision, voice transcription, and audio analysis. It is developing four patents and has datasets containing millions of faces from various ethnic and geographical backgrounds.
