D2C Startup Mokobara raises $6.5M in Series A funding round

Mokobara, a D2C luggage startup, has raised $6.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Saama Capital and Sauce VC.

Mokobara plans to invest the new funds in research and design. It will use the funds to expand into new categories, expand its team, and open experience centres.

The Bengaluru-based startup, founded in 2019 by Sangeet Agarwal and Navin Parwal, offers a variety of luggage, travel bags, wallets, kits, and sling bags on its online platform.

According to its LinkedIn profile, Mokobara has collaborated with London-based Studio Morrama to create cabin luggage.
